We have:

  • a up-to-date, comprehensive print reference collection

  • an extensive non-fiction collection to support the curriculum

  • a growing teachers' reference section

  • the school's developing collection of guided reading books

  • the school's expanding maths resource collection

  • equipment such as digital cameras (video and still), tripods, scanners and data projectors

  • designated multimedia workstation

  • Internet search facilities

We provide:

  • an online catalogue of all resources, including those collections outside the Library walls

  • OPAC access from all classroom workstations

  • personal assistance with location, selection and circulation of resources

  • individual class borrowing sessions

  • class/group research sessions

  • coordination of the computer lab booking system

  • bulk loans for reading and/or research

  • help with purchase planning, budget calculation and timely buying

  • new  resources added regularly

  • maintenance of many school resources

  • reading incentive programs for Early Years and Middle and Upper Years

  • displays to promote reading, information skills and libraries

  • a school website with selected links for staff and students

  • individually- tailored hot lists to support your class's learning program

  • class webpages to share what you have done with the world

  • recreational activities during lunch breaks

  • access to the world's largest teacher-librarian networks

  • collaborative planning and preparation services to support your class program

  • individualised instruction in using the Library and its facilities

  • individualised instruction in most software applications on request
